The nice thing about black granite countertops is that they are always really shiny and look great no matter what color the cabinets are. If you have a bigger sized kitchen or bathroom, then I would recommend using black granite because of how well it looks.
One of the things that you need to understand is that black granite counters are cheap. The reason why black granite is cheaper than most other colors and designs is because a lot of people don’t want to buy it. Don’t be afraid of the color black, it won’t hurt you and you can even see what it looks like in your house before you commit to it. All you need to do is ask the stone yard of the hardware store if you can take a piece of black granite to your house so that you know what it is going to look like. Most stores will allow this since they know that black is not the hottest selling color.
Another reason why I love black granite counter tops is because they don’t show dirt as easily as other colors do. Most people think that you can see dirt on black things but the truth is that with the sealer, you won’t be able to see the dirt as easily. Trust me, if you have a tough time cleaning your counters, then you might want to get black granite because you won’t be able to see the dirt but at the same time they will still be just as easy to clean as any other color. When it comes to granite counter covers there is so much to choose from so just take your time and make sure you make the right decision.
