Each piece of furniture in your house serves a different use. Though some get used daily others are rarely used. Kitchen bar stools are items that are used very frequently. These have become commonplace in some homes.

You may be overwhelmed by the infinite variety of color, fabric and design options you will find as you search for your perfect stools. Stores have lots of different types of stools, ranging from casual to fun to formal. The overall kitchen design would also determine the design of the bar stool such that their designs would fit.

Look for kitchen stools in 24, 26, 30 and 34 inches. Less common are 18-inch stools, which are made for short counters. The stools available for a regular kitchen counter are most commonly 24 or 26-inch. Even though the kitchen swivel stools are the most expensive, the others are basically in the same price range, ranging from least expensive to expensive.

If you’re looking for kitchen stools with traditional styles, choose a stool built from oak, pine, or other wood.
