"Delay your flight
home until you fully enjoy Seoul¡¦"
Changing Landscapes: Towards a sustainable economy
in Asia is offering an opportunity for our guests to
relax and experience the sights of Seoul on Thursday
19th June 2008.
The hub of culture, history and economy, Seoul is
a powerful portrayal of advancement within a culture
that has retained much of its unique history. Seoul
preserves numerous relics of the Joseon Dynasty: five
extant palaces and royal tombs, Sung Kyung Kwan, the
Confucian educational institution and Bokchun, the ancient
living quarters of the dynasty¡¯s aristocracy. The city¡¯s
legacy winds through its labyrinthine alleys. At the
same time, Seoul has risen as a global landmark of modernity
with many must-see attractions: Lotte World, the Seoul
Tower, its trademark stores and other emporiums.
